Spider-Girl (referred to as Spider-Girl Black Suit) is a Marvel Comics character who exists within an alternate timeline, specifically the MC2 universe. She is May "Mayday" Parker, the daughter of Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and Mary Jane Watson-Parker.
Mayday inherited her father's spider-powers, developing enhanced strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls. Unlike her father initially, she also possessed organic web-shooters from the start.
The "Black Suit" designation refers to the times Mayday has worn a black costume similar to the Symbiote suit worn by her father. It is not always the actual symbiote, but a visual homage in many cases. The symbiote however, does play a role in Spider-Girl's MC2 run at one point.
As Spider-Girl, Mayday initially struggles with the responsibilities of being a superhero while balancing her personal life as a teenager. Her stories often explore themes of legacy, family, and the burden of great power. She quickly establishes herself as a hero in her own right within the MC2 timeline.
